  • Has eight culinary water sources: three deep wells, one spring, two tunnels, Rockport Reservoir and one imported source (JSSD).
  • Maintains a water distribution system that is one of the most complex in the U.S. with 43 pressure zones, 20 tanks, 16 pump stations and 49 pressure-reducing stations.
  • Maintains over 140 miles of water pipeline.
  • Pumps water to its residents over an elevation range greater than 1/3 of a mile.
  • Uses almost 70% of total summer consumption for irrigation.
