We want you to have a great winter!
Our goals are to protect residential neighborhoods, increase transit efficiency and improve traffic flow.
We developed a Winter Traffic Peak Day Calendar, based on four years of historic data, to anticipate the days the City experiences high traffic volume. Traffic operations, including increased staffing and mitigation, will be implemented on these peak days.
We need your help! If your schedule and/or lifestyle allows, please consider altering your travel behaviors on peak days by traveling outside the hours of 7:00-9:30 a.m. and 3:30-6:00 p.m., carpooling, taking Park City Transit, and considering alternative modes of transportation.
Below you will also find a few tools for navigating Park City this winter.
We’re improving your ride this winter with enhanced 20-minute frequency on most routes, expanded transit access with a new Microtransit pilot program, and the launch of bus service to the Park City Heights neighborhood and Richardson Flat park-and-ride.
With so many ways to get around town without a car, you can sit back, relax, and let us do the driving this winter. Plan your trip here.
Paid parking will be implemented throughout the day beginning November 18 in City-owned parking lots in Old Town.
There are a variety of parking permits offered to businesses and employees to park in China Bridge Garage and the new, permit-only Flagpole parking lot. To learn more and apply for permits visit the parking website.
Skip the traffic! There are multiple park-and-rides served by frequent transit service and connected to Park City’s top destinations with transit priority to make your parking experience a breeze. View park-and-ride locations here.
Parking (without a residential permit) and cutting through Park City's residential neighborhoods is prohibited and enforced. Parking in unauthorized areas will result in a fine or tow at owner’s expense.

In an effort to better manage their overall parking experience, help alleviate congestion at the Park City Mountain Village base area and in adjacent neighborhoods, and give guests a variety of options Park City Mountain has implemented a reservation system with elements of paid parking, free parking, carpooling and transit incentives for the 2022/23 winter season. Paid reservations will be implemented at the Main, First Time and Silver King surface lots and in the Mountain Village Garage.
