A former silver mining town, Park City is home to two world-class ski resorts and was the mountain host for the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games. With over 10,000 acres of protected open space in and around the city, and 400 miles of dedicated public trails, it’s no wonder that our locals value active lifestyles and access to nature. Our town of 8,400 is also home to more than 100 diverse nonprofits promoting everything from mountain sports to social services, arts, and climate solutions. Park City hosts many special events, including the Sundance Film Festival and the Kimball Arts Festival, and offers a thriving arts and local food scene.
