Affordable Housing How-To

Want to Learn More about Affordable Housing? Park City Municipal, Habitat for Humanity, and the Housing Resource Center invite you to learn about affordable housing in Summit County. “Affordable Housing How-To” is a free information session which will inform attendees about each organization’s housing programs and how to access them. The English session starts at 6:00 p.m. and the Spanish session starts at 7:00 p.m. Registration and information are available at habitat-utah.org.

Topics include:

  • How to get prepared for affordable housing opportunities
  • How to qualify and apply when units come available
  • Introduction to affordable housing programs in the area
  • How deed restrictions work

Future Affordable Housing How-To sessions are scheduled for:

First-Time Homebuyer Workshops

Interested in owning a home, but don't know where to begin? Join Park City Municipal Corporation and Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties for a free workshop, required for first-time homebuyers purchasing through Park City Municipal and Habitat for Humanity.

The HUD (Housing and Urban Development) certification program is a six-hour course designed to help first-time homebuyers prepare for homeownership.

Classes must be registered for in advance. Register via email, program@habitat-utah.org or by calling 435.658.1400, x1006.
