• Construction will occur from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
• Intermittent water shut-offs. Properties will be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
• Construction Sequencing:
  • During Phase II crews will install the water main line from 5th Street to the Top of Main/Swede Alley.
  • Crews will return to tie-in individual water service and fire lines in Spring 2025 for Phase II (continued). The mainline installation can appear to be a quick process, however the individual tie-ins are more detailed, invasive, and time intensive.
• Construction equipment and other supplies will be stored securely on the shoulders of Main Street at night and in the Brew Pub Lot.
• Noise from machinery.
• Crews may need access into businesses periodically.

• Lower Main Street: Unaffected
• Work Zone | Main Street, 5^th Street to 4^th Street:
  • The project area – will be closed during work hours. This area will reopen after project hours to traffic and parking
  • Delivery trucks will be able to enter the project area from both directions
  • Emergency vehicle access will remain in place
• Main Street, between Heber Avenue and 5^th Street: open to two-way travel
• Top of Main, between 4^th Street and Swede Alley: open to two-way travel
• 5^th Street (by the Post Office) will be switched to one-way heading east for two weeks, beginning September 30
• Trolley/Cut-A-Way service will remain in place with a detour
• All Old Town parking will be free during project duration

October 14-Novemer 20*

• Main Street from 15^th Street to 4^th Street: Unaffected – open to two-way traffic
• Work Zone | Main Street, 4^th Street to Swede Alley:
  • The project area – will be closed during work hours. This area will reopen after project areas to traffic and parking
  • Delivery trucks will be able to enter the project area from both directions
  • Emergency vehicle access will remain in place
• Main Street from Swede Alley to Hillside Avenue: open to two-way travel. A turnaround will be provided at the Top of Main Parking Lot for non-residential cars to turn around. Deliveries will be allowed to enter from Top of Main
• 4^th and 5^th Streets (west of Main Street) will be closed to through traffic, October 14-November 20.
• Trolley/Cut-A-Way service will remain in place with a detour
• All Old Town parking will be free during project duration
