This Week in City Council

The City Council will hold a Strategic Planning Meeting at the Park City Police Department building on Thursday and Friday, February 13 and 14. These meetings are open to the public and available on Zoom here.

Thursday’s meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. with an agenda that involves five areas of focus: 

• Childcare Scholarship Program Update
• Housing Elements and Goals - Agenda item here.
• Main Street Area Plan - Agenda item here.
• City Council Protocols and Liaison Assignments - Agenda item here.
• City Manager Work Plan - Agenda item here.

Friday’s meeting starts at 12:30 p.m. with an agenda that involves two areas of focus: 

• Future of City Hall - Agenda item here.
• General Plan Update

This Week in Planning Commission

The Planning Commission meets Wednesday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. This meeting will kick off with a Work Session on the General Plan Update. Other Agenda highlights include:  

Bransford Land Company Request 

Commissioners will review a request from the owners of the Bransford Parcels for a two-year extension to rezone the property from Recreation and Open Space to Estate. Commissioners will also consider allowing excavated materials generated from within the Empire Pass area to be disposed of on these parcels. View agenda item here. 

Bonanza Park Code Amendments  

Amendments to the Land Management Code to create a new Bonanza Park Mixed-Use Zoning District that reflects elements of the Bonanza Park Small Area Plan adopted by the Council last year. Commissioners will provide input on these changes and open a public hearing. Discussion is expected to be continued to the March 12 and April 9 meetings. View agenda item here.

Tuesday, March 25 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. | Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library  

Join Mayor Nann for her annual State of Park City address, followed by a social gathering with the Park City Council, neighbors, and friends in the Community Room. This free event is open to the public with Spanish translation available. We hope to see you there!
