Electric Assisted Bicycle (e-bike) use is permitted on soft-surface trails wider than 5ft and all paved multi-use pathways within Park City

Courtesy Tag Program

The Park City Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Electric Assist Mountain Bike (E-MTB) Courtesy Tag Program is designed for users who wish to identify their compliance with PCMC Code 10-1-4.5. Eligibility for the tag program is restricted to individuals who qualify for an exemption under the code due to the following conditions:

  • User is over the age of 65; or
  • User has a mobility disability.

All applicants wishing to obtain a courtesy tag must document eligibility by filling out the online application form HERE. (will need to add hyperlink to new form).

Please review the following information about the courtesy tag program before applying:

  • Tags are non-transferable and not intended for rental bikes
  • Tags are registered to specific bike serial numbers
  • If a user chooses to display a tag, it is best to mount on the bike handlebars, similar to a race/event plate
  • Application is free and completed online
  • Allow up to 14 days for processing; applicant will receive an email when tag is ready
  • Applicants must pick up tags in person at City Hall

  • Tags will be sorted alphabetically for pick up on the first floor of city hall
