The Mayor and Park City Council are seeking applications for five (5) at-large community members for the Citizens Open Space Advisory Committee (COSAC). COSAC consists of the five at–large committee members and representatives from community stakeholder groups, identified below. COSAC will provide recommendations to City Council on future acquisition and preservation of open space within the greater Park City area.
Stakeholder Groups include:
- Summit Land Conservancy
- Utah Open Lands
- Mountain Trails Foundation
- Recreation Advisory Board
- Park City Chamber of Commerce
- Park City Board of Realtors
- Recreation Advisory Board
- Park City Planning Commission
Applicants must reside within the City limits of Park City. Members will serve for a three-year term. Meeting times/dates are yet to be established but likely will be monthly or bimonthly, starting in late February, 2016.
