Electric Assisted Bicycle (e-bike) use is permitted on soft-surface trails wider than five feet and all paved multi-use pathways within Park City.
E-bikes on Singletrack Trails
Class 1 Electric Assisted Bicycle (e-bike) use is permitted on singletrack trails within Park City for users that are over 65 years old or users with a mobility disability.
E-bike Courtesy Tag Program
Park City offers an E-Bike Courtesy Tag Program for qualified applicants. This voluntary program is a free service and helps us identify riders in observance of Park City’s e-bike regulations.
How to Join:
- Apply Online: Fill out the simple online application form here.
- Document Eligibility: Provide proof of your age or disability.
- Receive Your Tag: We'll process your applicaton and send you an email when your tag is ready to be picked up.
Tag Guidelines:
- Courtesy tags are for users 65 years or older or users with a mobility disability.
- Tags are for Class 1 e-bikes.
- Tags are non-transferable.
- Each tag is registered to a specific bike and serial number.
- Mount your tag on bike handlebars for easy visibility.

Self-service Tag Pick-up:
- Please allow up to 14 days for processing. Applicants will receive an email when their tag is ready for pickup.
- Tags will be sorted alphabetically for pick-up on the main floor of city hall.
