The Mayor is the chief executive of the City, officially represents the City on public and ceremonial occasions, executes and authenticates legal instruments/documents of the City, and exercises all other duties and such powers as are conferred upon her by ordinance. The Mayor presides at the City Council meetings and only votes in the event of a tie.
