The Park City Police Department, in cooperation with area resorts and merchants, has developed a sports equipment registration program to serve the following purposes:

·         Deter the theft of sports equipment by displaying a visible PCPD registration sticker.
·         Assist Law Enforcement in tracking stolen equipment by placing the registered serial number on the NCIC (National Crime Information Center).

How the Program Works:

Owners of skis, snowboards and bicycles fill out a short registration form and place a small sticker on their equipment.  In the event the equipment is stolen advise the police department that the equipment is registered.  The serial number will be placed on the stolen property list of the NCIC.

Cost of Program:

FREE!  The program is 100% free.  The Park City Police Department provides all forms and stickers.
