The 6th hole is the shortest (plus it plays downhill) par 4 on this nine, but it is the #1 handicap hole. The severe dogleg left hole requires a tee shot between 200-225 yards down the middle. If you are short of 200 yards, you can't see the green and have to hit over large pine trees. Over 225 yards you'll go through the fairway into trees or OB. Tee shots to the right will probably be OB. The approach shot is over a pond to a shallow but wide green with three sections. Not many players are able to 2 putt from the wrong section. Over the green is OB, left or short of the green is in the water. A straight 200 yard tee shot and a straight 140 yard approach is an easy par. Any crooked shot can lead to big numbers.
