Beginning in 2010 and with approval from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality (UDEQ), Division of Environmental Response and Remediation (DERR) and acknowledgment from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), PCMC utilized the site to temporarily stockpile metals-contaminated soil excavated from mining-impacted development projects throughout the Park City area. PCMC has revised its development plans for the site and intends to remediate and redevelop the site for other purposes.
