City Council Agenda and Packet
Thursday, March 16 at 5:30 p.m. | City Hall | Zoom Link
You are invited to participate in the next meeting for the Snow Park proposal on March 16. Deer Valley will share a short presentation about the project, followed by a public hearing which the City Council is prioritizing as a public listening session for City Council to directly hear public feedback. City Staff will be present to answer questions.
This meeting is a follow up to the Planning Commission’s work sessions held on December 19, 2022, and January 18, 2023, which focused on the applicant's updated transportation, circulation, and parking plans – all dependent on the vacation of City Right-of-Way (ROW).
Neither a formal positive nor negative vote was taken during these work sessions, though the Commission did find consensus to forward the issue of the ROW vacation to the City Council, with substantial qualifiers, concerns, conditions, and caveats regarding the circulation plan for Council to consider. More information on that meeting can be found here.
Council can now move forward and make its legislative determination regarding whether there is sufficient good cause for vacation of the ROW. If Council approves, the Commission will move forward with the other pending aspects of the application, including continued review of the circulation plans and more public hearings.
No action is scheduled for this meeting and the Mayor will continue the Public Hearing to a later date.
Parking is limited, please consider transit options. Deer Valley will be running a complimentary shuttle to the library from the north end of the Snow Park Parking Lot 6 (closest to the ponds) at 5:00 p.m. with return service directly following the meeting
