City Evacuation Plan

Developed with the help of multiple agency stakeholders and City departments, should evacuation of the City or parts of the City, become necessary, this plan provides the framework to conduct an appropriately-scaledsafe, coordinated, and controlled evacuation, by visitors, workers, and residents in the impacted area. And once utilities, resources, and circumstances permit, conduct a safe, coordinated and timely re-entry to the evacuated area.

As part of the planning process, a Full-Scale Evacuation Exercise with community participation was held Wednesday, September 28, 2022, to evaluate the plan and response.

Thank you to all our emergency response agency partners from State, County, District, and City, as well as City and County departments - including a huge thank you to all community members who were able to participate and make the exercise a success!
