Join Park City and the National League of Cities for a discussion about defensible space, designed to reduce fire danger, and about biochar and its benefits. Biochar is a carbon-dense, charcoal-like substance. It is created by "cooking" wood or organic matter, and, when added to soil, can keep carbon out of the atmosphere for thousands of years.
After the discussion, guests can enjoy a BBQ and gathering with hot dogs and marshmallows.
Saturday, May 18
