Multiple seats will be up for election this year on each of Summit County's six town councils.
Topics of the seminar will include the following:
* Rules and regulations for filing and campaigning
* Responsibilities and liabilities of elected officials
* Planning a campaign and interacting with the local media
* Going from private citizen to public official
* Other opportunities: planning commissions, volunteer boards and commissions
