ATTENTION - NOTICE OF ELECTRONIC MEETING & HOW TO COMMENT VIRTUALLY:

The Chair issued a written determination that because of the public health emergency, conducting a meeting with an anchor location presents a substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may attend in person. This determination is based on the ongoing risks and infection rates statewide and in Summit County. For these reasons, this meeting will be an electronic meeting without an anchor location. Forestry Advisory Board members will connect electronically. Public comments will be accepted virtually. To comment virtually, raise your hand on Zoom. Written comments submitted before or during the meeting will be entered into the public record but will not be read aloud.

Exhibit A:  Determination of Substantial Health and Safety Risk

The Board Chair has determined that conducting a meeting with an anchor location presents a substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may be present at the anchor location.

 Utah Code section 52-4-207(5) requires this determination and the facts upon which it is based, which includes:

· The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Utah and in Summit County continues to rise;

· Park City is a resort community continually hosting visitors from areas which may be experiencing rapid COVID-19 spread.  The start of the new year and high visitation rate to the area has created uncertainty regarding the potential for increased exposure within the community; and

· The source of COVID-19 exposures within Summit County includes community spread, raising concerns regarding public meetings.

 This determination is valid for up to 30 days and is set to expire no earlier than February 1, 2022.
