Residents Invited to Help Shape their Neighborhood as Part of the General Plan Update
Park City, Utah - Park City Municipal seeks residents to help ensure its recently launched effort to update its General Plan is a success. Last updated in 2014, the General Plan is the community-driven blueprint that shapes the future of Park City. The current effort to update the plan provides an opportunity to identify how Park City should evolve, grow, and develop in the coming decade and beyond.
The General Plan outlines ten neighborhoods ranging from Quinn’s Junction to Thaynes, and from Old Town to Upper Deer Valley. For the City to learn about specific challenges and opportunities, Neighborhood Advisory Committees made up of three volunteer residents from each area will be formed to help facilitate neighborhood meetings.
Park City residents living in one of the following neighborhoods are encouraged to apply:
- Bonanza Park/SnowCreek
- Lower Deer Valley
- Masonic Hill
- Old Town
- Park Meadows
|
- Prospector
- Quinn’s Junction
- Resort Center
- Thaynes
- Upper Deer Valley
|

The General Plan update is expected to take ten months, and committee members should expect to serve a few hours a month until on the conclusion of the project.
