In 2009, the Design Guidelines for Historic Districts and Historic Sites were adopted through resolution by the Park City Council with the intent of being a living document. This will be the first thorough review of the Design Guidelines since that time. The Planning Department intends to engage the public in this discussion in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the existing Design Guidelines, develop guidelines to provide additional clarity, and make revisions to ensure consistency throughout the document. We encourage the public; property owners; as well as the design, development, and construction community to participate through our public outreach workshops, Historic Preservation Board (HPB) and City Council meetings, as well as direct contact with Planning Department staff.
