Outside of the venues, Main Street was the place to be during the Olympics, with activities and entertainment each and every night of the games.

The unsung heroes of the Olympics were the thousands of volunteers who dedicated much of their Olympic experience to ensuring a wonderful experience for others. They built memories that will last a lifetime.

175 city volunteers contributed more than 6000 hours to the Games, or the equivalent of 750 workdays (and this doesn't even count the public safety volunteers).
